The second of the Motorcycle models issued by Budgie in 1962 was a Racing Sidecar Combination or Outfit. This was developed from the same bike as No.262, an all-in-one unpainted casting, and included the tin-plate faring as previously. The wheels, windscreen, number label and black plastic rider were also the same although there was a variation to the numbers themselves, usually '4' or '5' on this model.

Fixed to the motorcycle was a diecast sidecar platform with its own small metal wheel and axle. The wheel had a black plastic tyre. Around the front of the sidecar was fitted a metal frame which on first sight appears to be the method of securing the sidecar to the bike but in fact it was purely decorative. It was always painted a contrasting colour, either bright yellow or metallic gold. The Sidecar rider was black plastic with painted helmet, hands and pink face and underneath had a 'spike' which fitted into a hole in the floor of the sidecar platform.

Both riders of the Racing Sidecar Outfit had matching helmet colours and these were either silver or red. The hands (or gloves) were white and the face pink. The paint finish on helmets and hands was easily rubbed off  so touch-ins by collectors are not uncommon.

The way the sidecar was attached to the motorcycle involved two extended 'prongs' on the inner edge of the sidecar and a central rivet running through the bike into a slot cast underneath the sidecar. This was not a particularly secure system and often models are found with replacement fixings.

As with No.262 Racing Motorcyclist, Budgie issued No.264 in several different colours and added a few more, all with metallic finish. Both motorcycle faring and sidecar were in matching paint. The yellow sidecar frames were used at first but were soon replaced by metallic gold so these are more common.

Production run for the Racing Sidecar Outfit was quite short so it was only issued in one type of box (A9). It is sometimes found in white card trade boxes with 'T.T.Racing Sidecar' and the number on the front of the motorcycle stamped on the end flap.

It is not a common model, especially boxed, and several of the colour variations are rare.
