The second version of the AA (Automobile Association) Scout Patrol was a completely new model although the motorcycle part was shared with the second series RAC Patrol.

Features of the Series 2 motorcycles was the introduction of steering, new wheels incorporating rubber tyres, and the addition of 'Made in England' on the right side of the motorcycle near the seat. Like the earlier version, it was painted glossy black with silver trim on the plain number-plates and the headlight but also had yellow trim applied to the fuel tank. The unpainted metal wheels were a more realistic style than the earlier models and had black treaded tyres. 

The screen of the Series 2 AA Patrol discontinued the plastic windscreen and replaced it by a yellow screen with an arching frame. The AA logo was cast in the centre and trimmed in black. The screen slotted onto the motorcycle behind the headlight.

The newly designed sidecar retained the black rails but now it had an opening lid. It was also directly attached to the motorcycle without a sub-frame which made it more secure. On both sides of the pointed front the AA logo was cast and picked out in black. There was also an unpainted metal aerial. The black sidecar mudguard was fitted directly onto the side and like the earlier model shared the axle with the motorcycle rear wheel.

There was a new-style rider on the second series AA Patrol with a round helmet in place of the earlier cap. This was painted olive green along with the rest of the rider who also had black gloves and boots.

The box was the only thing which did not change with the appearance of the Series 2 AA Patrol although it was a slightly different size. The AA logo was still boldly displayed and 'Morestone Series' appeared on all sides and end-flaps.
