For Zebra Toys, Benbros created new versions of the popular Qualitoys AA (Automobile Association) and RAC (Royal Automobile Club) Motorcycle Patrols. Both used a new motorcycle casting with steering forks which was based on a Triumph bike.

Several features of the motorcycle are interesting. It was painted gloss-black without any silver trim. On each side of the fuel tank 'Triumph' was cast and on the number-plates 'ENT 303' was added front and rear. The screen on the AA Patrol was a small cast piece which fitted over the headlight and was held in place by two 'prongs' on each side. 

The rider was plastic, a generic moulding which Benbros used for all their motorcycle models. In this case he was dark-brown with pink face and black goggles. The moulding of the rider's legs had two 'pegs' on the inside to secure him to the motorcycle.

The all-new sidecar was yellow with painted top bars and an opening lid. 'AA' decals were added to both sides at the front and one at the rear. It was secured to the bike by a long rear axle and a front pin inside yellow coupling rods. Underneath 'AA Patrol', 'Zebra Toys' and 'Made in England' were cast. There was no number.

All three spoked wheels of the AA Patrol were the same size and unpainted metal with black tyres.

On the usual black & white striped Zebra Toys box the illustration showed the Patrol man repairing a car breakdown. The orange end-flaps included the number '6'.

As it was issued not long before Benbros ceased trading, the Zebra Toys AA Motorcycle Patrol had only a short run and is now rare.
