Issued 1955-1957 Length 138mm
Morestone's No.4 Foden was the only one of the four to be given more than one colour. The flat-bed body was always grey but the cab, chassis and wheels could be bright yellow, orange or light brown similar to the No.2 Foden.
The cab and chassis was one casting like the other Fodens with 'Made in England' and 'Morestone Series' cast underneath. Below the cab there was a small plain base without id.. The metal wheels were assembled on round-head and crimped axles before the model was painted so all parts were coloured. On the front, silver trim was applied to the grille, headlights and bumper, and the wheels were fitted with chunky black tyres.
The flat-bed body was rivetted to the chassis by a central rivet after both parts were fully painted so this was the only unpainted item on the model.
No.4 Foden was the only model illustrated on the shared box carrying a load, the remaining three Fodens being pictured unladen on the other sides. On the end-flap, the writing reads 'Morestone Series No.4 Express Delivery Wagon'
The yellow version of No.4 Foden is the most frequently encountered with the orange model more scarce. The brown one is rare.
